Developed in 2008, Ms Messeroux's goal is to transform inner city children into celebrities and iconic figures, documenting the process through photographs.
Her latest project, a duplicate of the Golden Globe red carpet, had more than 200 children apply in the hope of being included.
Ms Messeroux and her designer Andrea Pitter selected their favourite looks when the show aired on Sunday, creating patterns in the childrens' miniature measurements, before shopping for fabric and props on Monday, and shooting the looks on Tuesday.

She told Today.com: 'I held a casting call for the Golden Globes red carpet the day before. These are regular kids who happen to like taking pictures.'
Even though the toddlers had no real comprehension of who they were imitating, Ms Messeroux said they loved posing for the camera.
'Mini-Helle Berry was Ariana from Long Island,' explained the photographer.  'She had an idea of who Halle Berry is but she was more excited to know that she was chosen because she is as pretty as Halle Berry.

'Her sister was the first choice but Ariana was a better match and had the bigger personality.'
Meanwhile mini-Anne Hathaway apparently had problems with her wig.
'[She] was a freshman in all this,' said Ms Messeroux. 'This was her very first photo shoot ever. She did a great job even though the Anne Hathaway wig was itchy and the sequined dress was kind of itchy too. But she maintained herself and even asked to keep the dress!'

Ms Messeroux, who has also made tiny versions of the Today show anchors and Oscar red carpet moments, said her original inspiration came from her own daughter.
'I was looking for a photography project that would include my then-3-year-old daughter, Skylar,' she said. 'I was told that she looked like Diana Ross. So I figured, well, let's make her look like Diana Ross!'
