But the hard work is paying off - as she became a New York Times bestselling author on Wednesday.

After receiving the good news the Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills star was in great spirits as she touched down in Los Angeles, California.

And to make sure everyone else knew she is loving life, the reality star turned author made sure to wear her emotions on her sleeve - literally - donning a bright happy pink dress.
While Brandi stayed on the phone as she walked through the airport, she was clearly glad to back be in California.
The star, who is currently promoting new book Drinking and Tweeting: And Other Brandi Blunders, strode through LAX wearing her hair down and in soft waves and showing off her tanned complexion.

The 40-year-old looked years younger in the bright pink long sleeved gown which she accessories with a white tote with chain detail, a big woolen cardigan and red framed round glasses.
Pink is obviously a favourite colour for the mother of two as even her laptop had a pink cover on it.
Brandi landed in her home town just a few hours before she was scheduled to do yet another book signing at The Grove, a luxury shopping centre in Los Angeles.

In her book Brandi has discussed the intimate and often unflattering details of her marriage to the actor and talked at length about how singer LeAnn acted both during the affair and in recent years.
'Getting your bits fixed on the ex's dime is amusing. But CONSTANTLY rehashing old b.s, in the media/tv? Immature @BrandiGlanville,' the Canadian fan posted on the reality star's twitter.
Not missing a beat Brandi quickly revealed what many believed was her motivation behind revealing so much about herself and her former relationship:
'I have to promote my book,' she wrote back.
It comes as the star once again engaged in the never ending mud slinging match between herself and her ex-husband's new wife.
'LeAnn needs to get help,’ the 40-year-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star tells the new issue of Life&Style magazine. ‘She may be unstable and I am concerned; I want to protect [my children]. I want to make sure she’s as healthy as she can be!’
She added: ‘There are clearly some issues going on, and I need to know my kids are okay when they’re with [LeAnn]!’
On Wednesday Star Magazine reported the 30-year-old singer was pregnant but her representative denied the claims.
The rep told Mail Online directly: ‘LeAnn is not pregnant.’
