The mala is string of 108 beads, which is used prayer or meditation. The mala is further acknowledged as Tibet mala. In Hinduism, the mala is used to enchant the various mantras. It is said with mala the person can focus more towards sacred mantras rather than calculating the numbers. Mala is said to be the virtual common belief in almost every religion and in major spiritual practices.
Mostly people prefer to take mala which is made from wood of tulsi, sandal and rudraksh. It is believed that the properties of these materials leave the positive impact on human mind. There is perfect reason behind the 108 beads in Tibet mala, it is said that in Hindu mythology there are 108 gods and on the other way Buddhists have 108 sin. The 108 names of god also intend the 9 planets and 12 zodiac signs completely. Therefore, 108 is the perfect number for these types of devotional purposes.
There is a particular method of holding the mala, one should hold the mala lightly in his right hand and the first bead which is also known as guru bead should be hold first. The guru bead it the largest bead in the Tibet mala. The thumb must be used for the bringing the sequent beads.
The Tibet mala is used by many people; the people use this Tibet mala for different intentions such as for getting a self satisfaction or to upsurge or to mollify.
