She may be prone to hitting a low note in the style stakes, but that was easily forgotten when Britney Spears hit the red carpet at the X Factor final on Thursday.
The singer’s outfit was so sensational that she easily stole the spotlight from the contestants and her fellow judges Demi Lovato, Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid alike.

The 31-year-old sported a black backless dress that boasted a bodice of leather and sheer panels and a velvet skirt with a train.
The gorgeous gown showed off some cleavage and displayed Britney’s svelte frame as she prepared for the events of the evening.
She also had her blonde locks in a pretty updo and wore thick smoky eye make-up.
Demi looked lovely in a shiny cut-out dress with a graduated turquoise and gold hue, but was overshadowed by her co-star.

Upon her arrival the 20-year-old, who also wore sky high black pumps, posed with her contestant CeCe Fray, who was eliminated in week six of the competition.
As usual CeCe was dressed in an eccentric outfit, sporting a white and silver creation as well as shimmering leopard print make-up on her forehead.
Demi was the only judge not to have an act in the final – Simon had Fifth Harmony, Britney had Carly Rose Sonenclar and L.A. was mentor for Tate Stevens.
