Now American Beauty alum Mena Suvari, 33, is taking her turn and being savvy, she's opted to play a baddie... a stalker to be precise.

Mena and Henry Simmons have joined
the cast of Lifetime’s two-hour original movie Stalkers (formerly
Whisper Of Fear), starring Drea De Mateo and Jodi Lyn O’Keefe. It's inspired by a true story from the book Whisper Of Fear: The True Story Of The Prosecutor Who Stalks The Stalkers by Rhonda Saunders, a criminal prosecutor who wrote the law on stalking in California.
Stalkers follows Diane Harper - de Matteo - a passionate cop with a troubled past, and ambitious Da - O’Keefe - who team up to bring a stalker (Suvari), obsessed with her former lover, to justice.
Simmons plays Harper’s partner Cliff.

And it would appear having a new man in her life has given Mena a new-found positivity.
Writing on her Twitter page, she said: 'Love your life and live it well... commit to discovering your dreams and making them come true.'

The former couple split last November after less than two years of marriage.
Divorce proceedings were said to have become tense amid reports Sestito asked for $17,000 a month from the actress, alleging she earns $750,000 a year.
However, her representative said the pair eventually mediated their issues and resolved the situation.
