Hello Angel! Smiling Rihanna touches down in New York ahead of Victoria's Secret Fashion Show

She has performed at most big musical events during her career.
But on Wednesday night, Rihanna will be achieving another first as she takes to the stage at the highly-anticipated Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in New York.
And the 24-year-old singer looked more than excited about the prospect as she touched down in Manhattan on Tuesday ahead of the performance.

Wearing a casual outfit of grey jogging bottoms, a hooded sweatshirt and black leather jacket topped off with a bright pink hat, Rihanna smiled widely for photographers as she made her way out of the airport.

Rihanna will be joined by other musical stars Justin Bieber and Bruno Mars as the trio take turns accompanying VS Angels including Miranda Kerr, Candice Swanepoel and Erin Heatherton down the runway at the show, which will be broadcasted on television in America on December 4th.
But while fans will undoubtedly be tuning into the show to see the musical entertainment, the main attraction is sue to be Alessandra Ambrosio modelling the Fantasy Bra - a prestigious jewel-encrusted piece which is redesigned every year.

Asked recently how she felt about being given the honour, Alessandra said: 'I just wanted to scream. But I won't lie, I was really worried.'
This year, the Fantasy Bra takes a floral theme and the $2.5 million design by Long Island's London Jewellers features a centrepiece of a 20 carat white diamond, and 5,200 other gems including amethysts, sapphires, rubies and diamonds set in 18-carat rose and yellow gold.

Alessandra said: 'It was perfect  - I felt they made it for me. It's very romantic. I'm pretty calm. I've been waiting for this moment for a long time.'

Previous Angels to have donned the Fantasy Bra include Miranda Kerr, Gisele Bundchen and Heidi Klum.
It was also confirmed earlier this week that British catwalk stars Cara Delevingne and Jourdan Dunn will be making their debut at the much-anticipated show.
The duo will display a selection of the lingerie label's latest wares alongside longtime Angels including Miranda and Alessandra,
Cara, 20, confirmed the news via Twitter over the weekend, writing: 'Had my fitting yesterday and am so happy about my outfit. Be prepared, be very prepared.'
While Jourdan then tweeted: 'Me and @Caradelevingne are on our way to NY!!!! Who's ready?'
It will be the first time the Londoners, who between them have starred in campaigns for Burberry, Chanel and Yves Saint Laurent, will have modelled for the U.S. underwear giant.
